Guys from http://www.healthmap.org came up with this cool idea ... they are following the news (google news), and searching for (geographical) locations and diseases inside the text (obviously also making some filtering).
they have all that in google maps ...
if something like bird flue is comin ... you can watch on this map something like "real time propagation"
hopefully there's not going to be a "flag invasion" :) on this map soon ...
